Rainy conditions were a little disappointing (as this is probably my favorite picture-taking-day of the year). Yes, 10 hours riding on the back of a trailer with 2 kids- one of which was sick- IN THE RAIN, is less than ideal. But, as usual, it was a blast!

We were lucky enough to have the almost-entire Miller/Turocy gang join us for Valentine's Day! We missed Aunt Haley and Uncle Dave -who was "studying" for the Bar exam. Which, was well worth the extra quiet time, as he PASSED! Congratulations Uncle Dave!!

Despite a few absent loved ones, we thought this would be an ideal opportunity for a professional photo shoot! Since when Mia and Bucca visit they usually do most of the photo taking, we arranged for someone to take some pics of them with all the grand kids.

This was a little more challenging than anticipated with 4 kids spanning from 6mos to almost 4, but thanks to Mama Quinn's ingenuity, we had lots of fun and got some great shots!

Reality Check

Ok...well, at this point I realize I am likely writing to myself as I have abandoned my blog for far too long. I have 976 excuses, I do! but, let's be honest, you don't want to hear them, you want pictures.

In any case, the point is- I have so many more photos of Christmas and family and friends and sledding, and New Year's, etc. but- I am more than half a year behind. My first baby just turned 4 and my second is almost 2. Trying to back track and post every moment since January will be an undertaking that will never allow me to catch up, so I apologize in advance if there is any moment I miss that was special to any of our readers (assuming there are a few of you left out there).

For now, I am going to hit the high points and do my best to get into 2011 now that we're in, you know, month 6 of 12.
