Well, as many of you know, the vast majority of babies are born in the two weeks prior to or two weeks after their due dates. Come tomorrow we officially enter that window, so we are open for bets (we do try to make this as interactive as possible...)!
So when will little Blayne arrive? To be fair, her due date is May 9th and Dr. Johnson will only allow us to go 1 week past due before inducing (thank goodness!) which makes May 16th the last possible date for induction, but technically May 17th the last date for actual delivery.
Please add your guess via the comment link below! Ian (although news to him) is in charge of the prize for the winner- so be sure to read the comments and/or a future post to find out what you can potentially gain by appeasing us!

Aunt Quinn Says May 5th- she will come out drinking a margarita and eating chips and salsa :-)
Soon-to-be Uncle Dave votes May 12th because if Blayne has even a hint of Miller blood in her she will def not be early or on time!!
Ok We have to stop smiling because when we signed on and saw a big baby belly looking at us it was pretty funny, but we did say hello to Little Blayne and told her we can't wait to meet her.
Bucca predicts May 5th as he puts it in true Miller Fashion Cinco de Mayo! a day to celebrate
Mia on the other hand predicts May 8th one day early! yeh Ashly, but of course if you keep going to aerobics class she may arrive this week! But then again the Millers are never early :)
Love Mia & Bucca
The last entry was from Mia & Bucca sorry Triton you think you are human but I haven't seen you typing at the computer yet!
Triton sends his love to Monte & Mulligan, and can't wait to lick Blayne's face!!!
love ya
Mia & Bucca
Uncle Josh and Aunt Sarah bet that Baby Blayne will arrive on May 6th so that she can begin torturing her momma early and prevent her from drinking on Cinco de Mayo. Daughters can be evil like that!
Can't wait to see everyone, even if it will only be through the web!
Kisses to the puppies and a butt sniff from Jusice.
following her mom's and grandmother's footsteps (mavis has no name to date)
Full Moom, May 2, 2007. see you next week honey!
miss you much,
mavis
I've had a discussion with my baby girl and we decided it would be best if she was born May 1. This would be before May 4th, the drop dead date to get her 8 week shots before leaving for the wedding (I'm sure Mia is having a heart attack after reading that) and It would allow me one more weekend of preparation plus a Monday to recover.
I would like to start a second wager. Closest to the # without going over, how much will she weigh? For the prizes we will be offering two wonderful pure bred PWDs. Given the prizes I'm guessing Blayne will weigh in at 14lbs.
BTW Ashly is threatening bodily harm to anyone who wagers a date after May 9th....
Date
My wish: May 2
My vote: May 11
Weight
My wish: 6lbs
My vote: 7lbs 2oz
And, yes, although I did it myself, I do reserve the right to be -at least temporarily- irritated with anyone who votes past my due date (DAVE!)...
Even in the face of threats of serious bodily injury - I reiterate May 12th
The one time I was visited Houston I seem to remember running through the airport in socks (not having time to replace my shoes after security) because I was dropped off LATE!
I did make my plane ... so maybe May 9th at 11:59 pm...
As for the weight, Ian is using 'two wonderful PWD' very liberally...but since I have a connection with the pound ... 6 lb 9oz
I would like Blayne to come any day now :) My vote is going to be May 7th and she'll weigh a whopping 6lbs 7oz...(I'll take the PWDs as long as I also get a nice brand new porsche convertable for the PWDs to ride with me in) :)
Aunt Peggy, Uncle Luke and boyfriend Noah vote for May 8th. We're being hopeful as Noah decided to make his debut 4 days late -- that's an eternity to a 40+ week pregnant woman!
For weight I think Blayne will be good to her Mommy and weigh in at 6lb 14oz... again hopeful as 8lb 2oz seemed awfully big to me.
Oh, and you can keep the PWDs, we have enough puppy paws!
Mia predicts 6lb 12oz.for our little Blayne.
And as for the prizes, don't get me wrong I love all of my granddoggies, but I do remember Ian saying one is not enough two is too many, and I will say three is insanity! So I will start looking for some great airfare to the BVI's for a grand prize! thanks Ian:)
Bucca predicts 6lbs 10oz for his first grandbaby.
He states, I will gladly take two more PWD's AND a nice sailboat for them to sail to the BVI's with him. Let me know when to expect delivery.
See you soon
Aunt Deb votes for May 10 (sorry Ashly) because she gave birth to her first born about a century ago on that date and sharing family birthdays would be nice! Also a vote for exactly 7 lbs. since this was David's weight. Lots of luck!!!
I would like to note that even in utero, Blayne is defying her fathers wishes by waiting and watching May 1st stroll righ on by ...
and think Ian, only 25 more years ... and then like your father, you will have to watch her marry some dope ...
I'm hoping Blayne isn't displaying any of her two aunts traits in being defiant and is just being considerate of her father who still has a few projects around the house to complete (read boats).
p.s. Monte and Mulligan have their bags all packed, ready to come visit their cousin James.
