Just another day at the beach...

Back down to San Luis Pass we went with Luke and his gang to spend another day at the beach! Same plan, same fun, some new friends and a beautiful day!

Za-za/Tia visit!

We were so lucky as to have a great visit with my Zara (pronounced Za-za) and Tia for the weekend!

Unfortunately, we didn't take many photos, but we had lots of fun!!

Za-za and Tia and I went to ride the "cho-cho" and see the "ish" while Mommy and Daddy were busy taking care of work stuff. Despite a short trip we had lots of time to swim and play and also do some shopping for me and baby Caden!
Thanks so much for coming to visit with me Za-za and Tia- I can't wait to see you again in October!

30 weeks

Here they are...what so many of you have been waiting for...the belly shots- round 2.

We got started a little late this time around...30 weeks (and I am now going on 33 with no additional pics to post...poor Caden...second child syndrome starting in the womb, no doubt).

He is tucked in there, following in his sister's footsteps- not leaving much room for Mommy to breathe. He is also busy-busy like his big sis- kicking and flipping away.

We are slowly getting ready for our new addition...Blayne especially is enjoying the thought of Caden. She loves his clothes, his blanket, his room...honestly, she has been sleeping in there often, a habit we need to break immediatly mind you, but alas, that is what you get at the end of the day when there is a show down between a tired, pregnant momma and a relentless two year old. She takes great interest in anything his- refering to everything as "Caden's blanket", "Caden's shirt" and "Caden's pillow", etc. It wasn't until yesterday that this conversation finally took place when she woke up (again, in his room, covered with his blanket)

Blayne (smiling): "Blayne's blanket, momma."
Momma: "No, Blayne, this is Caden's blanket, you're just borrowing it"
Blayne: "No momma, no mas"
Momma: "No mas what, Blayne?"
Blayne: "No mas Caden."

We laughed and I explained it was entirely too early to write him off just yet. We agreed to give it another week or two and re-consider.
