Good things take time

Poor mommy...she is still anxiously awaiting the grand moment of the 'roll over'. At a mere 14 and a half weeks, I just don't feel much like rolling over- is that so hard to understand? You know, I thought I made it quite clear back in May that I will do things in my own time, but alas, my parents don't seem to have gotten the message.

I might still wait for Mulligan to do it first...just to test their patience ;-)

Take your baby to work day!

Today Momma and I went to visit Daddy at work...we had a great day hangin' out at the office. He's got a nice set up there, I think I might just go hang out with him more often.

Luckily no one else got the memo about bringing their kids and grandkids to work, so I got to soak up all the love!

As I am sure you can imagine...this was very difficult for me to do ;-)

I do just love being the center of attention...hey- if you've got it, use it!

I'm sailing!

Well, today was the day! My first boat ride! The coastguard recommends 16lbs...we weighed me this morning and daddy said 14 is good enough. We had a blast- we rode out through the Kemah Channel and docked at the boardwalk for some breakfast, then I took a quick snooze while daddy safely navigated us back to the slip. I sure am glad daddy has so many cool toys...

Kickin' it

My Tia Tiff got me these kicks because she doesn't want me to turn out to be too much of a girly girl. I suppose she didn't anticipate the frilly pink socks...oh well.
Much like my sunglasses, I truly enjoyed having these fancy additions to my legs- they made me kick and dance! What can I say, I love to accessorize...sorry Tia, I just might turn out to be girly after all.

Happy birthday to me!

For my three month birthday, mommy went and got me a fancy new toy! It's an exercauser! As you can see in the first pic, I have a lot of growing to do before I can really get the full effect of this fantastic machine (note the space between my feet and the ground), but I am enjoying it just the same. Despite my small stature, I am very strong and hold myself up quite well...especially with a little help from the receiving blankets mom stuffs around me for a little extra support ;-)

3 months young!

Here are a few fun shots momma took for my 3 month birthday! They're not all in perfect focus, but what can I say...I'm quick!

Daddy is the BEST man

I knew it was only a matter of time until everyone else realized that daddy is the BEST man! He helped Aunt Kirstin and Uncle Dan in their wedding this past weekend.
The wedding was absolutely beautiful and we send our love to the bride and groom!
I had lots of fun meeting my Aunt Kirstin, Uncle Dan, their families and lots of other friends that mommy and daddy went to college with.

Congratulations again!

Mommy and me

Cheating rocks!

When you're on vacation, all bets are off! No more napping in my boring old crib. I get to sleep in all kinds of places: cradles, real beds, couches, chairs, the tiki bar (and not for the same reason that daddy's sleeps at the bar)...

and last but not least, I took a quick pre-bedtime snooze in Noah's chair. I hope we can have this much fun with nap time when I get home!

Now that's a dog!

Being that I have two rambunctious puppies of my own, dogs don't really phase me, not even these huge lovable beasts! Kona and Gryffy are the best- I had so much fun playing with them. I have decided that my Zara needs one (since daddy says it wouldn't be fair to drag one to Texas) to go with her oversized pond!

Best Friends

At last I meet my best friend Noah and his parents Aunt Peggy and Uncle Luke. Mom and Dad say that it was the Schenck family that convinced them they needed a baby. Now that they have me, I am convinced the next addition should be one of these salt water fish tanks! It was incredible...I couldn't take my eyes off it!

My Aunt Peggy is the best, she took good care of me and gave momma's arms a break.

Here I am just hangin' out with the boys. Noah was so much fun to play with. He told his mom we were best friends and when I was sad he told me "Don't cry Baby Blayne, be happy." It was so sweet, he will make a great brother someday!

On the Road Again...

Well, I've been traveling once again...this time I hit my ninth state (Delaware) and met lots of new friends! I got to see some of my old favorites too like my Zara. Daddy decided he needed a project on which he could spend someone else's money so we spent a few days constructing Zara that enormous pond you see behind us!

After a few days in Gettysburg, we headed to Dover to see my other grandparents and my great grandparents!

Blaine and Blayne together again! He is so entertaining!

Whaler Watching

Daddy finally got the whaler running, momma got me my very own life jacket...so why am I still whaler watching and not whaler riding? Apparently the Boston Whalers are known for being dry- not riding comfortably...Aunt Haley can attest to this...so I have yet to get my first boat ride, but I'm ready when they are!

Miller Time

Oh waitress, Miller Light, please. No need to check my ID, I'm a Miller- can't you tell?

My Mia, Bucca and Aunt Haley flew into Houston this week for some Miller Time. We've been livin' it up: swimming, playing, talking, and a doing a whole lot of lovin!

Luckily with this being the hottest and brightest week we've had all summer, I've got some new -and size appropriate shades! I actually really enjoyed wearing them, as you might guess from the pictures!

We've had so much fun that I am headed back with the whole Miller family to the north east tomorrow! Another plane ride, wish me luck! I think I'll take my shades...it could be bright up there!
