Hey, $25 is $25...

"shipwrecked in neverland"

I started using this website for photobooks and such. As I was doing this one day, I saw they had a "Best Vacation Ever" photo contest for $25 worth of their merchandise. I am not really qualified as a photo-contest-kinda-gal, but who doesn't want $25?

I immediately though of this photo- which I love, taken at Beer Can Island (pretty appropriate landing spot for the Miller Family) on our Ana Maria Adventure this summer.

If you love it too, please go to the website below and vote for it! You do have to sign up as a member but it's free and they really do have some cool stuff (like photo contests for $25!). Voting ends this Friday 8/31. Thanks!

You gotta love that expression!

HEY! Where you been?

Recognize these 2 jokers?

We sadly watched the 1 year mark finally pass us by on this here blog. I promise, it is not for lack of wanting to... In any case, we came across the fortune of meeting a lovely, fun, local photographer and signed up for a quick photo shoot!

We love the pictures too much to let the overwhelming feeling of "needing to post the entire last year first" stop us from sharing. I will post them below this entry as the title block well suits our new cover photo (which is way too big, but whatever, it's gorgeous).

Hope you enjoy them as much as we do. We've missed you too and promise to at least keep wanting to post - as though that does anybody and good ;-)

Ms. Blayne

At 5 now, this child is as sweet as she is beautiful. And, yes, in case you were wondering, we still have the dimples.

Caden: The Dude

This child, at 2 is a pint size hug. He is as squeezabale and kissable as they come, all wrapped up in a hurricane of an attitude. I love this last picture in particular because it shows, what I will refer to as, his "true colors".

Who needs a hug?

If you do, or you even think you might (need a hug that is, of course), I HIGHLY suggest you talk to one of these two. They are some of the best huggers and kissers and mood-uplifters you might find, well, anywhere.
