Best Morning Ever!

An awesome Christmas morning followed by the always eventful race to the airport.

I am not sure I ever wasted everyone's time with my long-winded rendition of last year's disaster, and I won't this year either. Let me just document how I heard Blayne relaying the aftermath to her friends over breakfast a few days later...

"We went to Pennsylvania for Christmas. And when we left the airport, our truck hit it's head on the ceiling and it was really loud and the lights broke and it was really funny."

Amazingly, despite some very expensive challanges, we always seem to make the plane.

Learning Curve

Ok, so there is still a WHOLE lot to learn about Photoshop Elements that I don't have the time or patience to figure out just yet (seriously, I would have thought an instruction manual could have been included based on the price?!?) But this is my small proof that this investment (originally purchased to "design" our Christmas card) was not completely in vain.

We Fish You a Merry Christmas

Blayne, Caden, Keller, Ms. Donna and momma went to have breakfast with Santa at the Aquarium in Kemah this year!

It was awesome!

Santa visited with us at the table and then later we saw him in the tank to wish us "Best Fishes" this holiday season.

Nothing like loading up on the new stretch limo golf cart (complete with Christmas lights, baby seats and CD player- a very Glee Christmas playing in the background, of course) to head off to see Santa!

Unfortunately, Momma was unable to change the white balance enough in this amazingly blue restaurant to get this picture to turn out any better. Oh well, you get the idea- someday she will learn how to manipulate her photos.

Blayne was so PSYCHED to see the man in red this year! And she wants two things for Christmas: 1.) A barbie and 2.) A black bikini :-).

Turkey tastes better at the beach: Take 2

Our second annual trip to the beach (Port A) for Thanksgiving was an amazing success...we keep hoping for another turkey day in the islands (the real islands...the Caribbean type) but really, there are worse places to spend the holiday.

The house daddy found was AWESOME! Bedrooms for everyone, including the Portuguese, and Blayne packed much more reasonably this year. We had a wonderful meal and an even better weekend!

Even the locals were SO impressed with our new stretch limo, including baby seats and CD player. I mean, we know it's nice...but isn't this the only way to travel?

Blayne is always impressed on the ferry over...a golf cart, on a truck, on a boat...really, it's like a tur-duck-in.

Hard to beat.

T'is the season.
