Baby Alyvia

Oh yeah, and Aunt Kara and Uncle Andrew! The Clugston Clan came for a visit!

We had fun getting all the babies together! Baby Alyvia was super sweet and adorable!

Almost as adorable as Uncle Andrew was entertaining...

She had so much fun with Aunt Kara and Uncle Andrew, Blayne packed herself and her brother up and planned on being shipped to Dallas to live with them ;-)

We had a great visit and very much appreciated the opportunity to meet baby Alyvia.

Holy Cow!

Well, it took us 5 years, but we finally made it to the Houston Rodeo!

Thanks to another vendor (we are high rollers around here ;-) we got tickets to see Darius Rucker, a.k.a. Hootie, perform after visiting with cows and horses and fighting our way through a cowboy hat and boot wearin' crowd.

Mommy borrowed some boots and Caden went "cowboy chic" to get into the groove.

Blayne didn't need to dress the part as she rode the "All American Pony Ride".

Even months after Halloween, Blayne is still madly in love with cows and was much more receptive to seeing them upclose than she had been in previous encounters!

Rocket Power

Alright folks, we know, we know...believe it or not we are in fact aware that we are some 3 months behind in blog posts so, since talk is cheap, we'll keep the commentary to a minimum and see if we can't work our way out of a hole...

One of BIH's vendors got us court side seats to the Rocket's game! It was awesome we had a lot of fun. We opted to take just Blayne for the late night adventure.

In true Houston sports teams fashion, they lost, but we enjoyed the opportunity none the less. Especially since one of Blayne's only Christmas requests this past year was 5 basketballs: a pink one, a yellow one, a red one, a green one and a blue one. We are happy to note that Tia did manage to find her one of the 5 impossible colors.
