Just one of the big kids

Luckily, after THE day, there was some time to relax and just be one of the little people. I got to snuggle in my PJs with Aunt Haley, meet new friends like Jack...

play with Grammy...who tried to show me something about my new friend Jack who was apparently trapped in a box, but as you can see, I was more concerned about her stealing my new books and crayons...he took too long to escape anyhow- I had that box open in a matter of seconds.
I learned all about marbles- and gravity for the matter- but mainly marbles- and how you can loose them and no matter how much you want to hoard them, you're not suppose to put them in your mouth...

And visited and played with so many of my cousins, just like one of the big kids.

Dashing in Dover

We had a wonderful day as always, getting to spend it with all the people we love. We opened gifts until we couldn't hold our heads up and then we opened some more (these pics don't even show the stockings which...if you have ever had the opportunity to experience this with the Millers, you would know this is not your typical toothbrush and tic-tac event). The rest of the day we spend resting and recuperating, fighting over baby-time with the family's newest and sweetest addition.

December 25th, 2008 did in fact prove to be a very Merry Christmas!

Round...?!? What number are we on anyway?

We partially can't remember because of sooo many rounds, but also due in part to how long it has been since our last post. We know, we know. Please forgive us as we attempt to catch up here...cut us a little slack though folks, we're only a month behind...it has been worse ;-)

Ok...where were we in our Christmas saga?...
Right, so, THE morning- after all the fun at my Zara, Shane and Tia's house, I grabbed my bags and headed to Dover to visit with the next set of Millers for yet more love and attention, oh, and of course, gifts.

I thoroughly enjoyed opening box after box of wonderful surprises!

And- don't think the day was through without a little cousin-comparison and switch-er-roo. I definitely won the size contest this year...but in all fairness- I did have about a year and a half head start. We'll have to see how we measure up in years to come.

NOTE: Many more pics of the fun we had over the holiday to come. I promise I will try and get them up soon.

THE morning begins

THE morning, Christmas morning (not that I truly understood)...first we opened the last few stocking gifts with Zara, Tia and Shane...

I, of course, just now getting the hang of opening, did not want to stop at mine...and...well...
here, my friends, is the prime example of what happens when you open a gift from the wrong stocking...

Not good, people, not good...
Luckily, only a few hours later I was dressed and on my way to Round 3 in no other than Dover to see my Mia and Bucca, Aunt Haley, Aunt Quinn, Uncle Dave and my very first cousin Kennedy!

Round 2- A Gettysburg Gala

Second round of Christmas was in Good-Ole-G-Burg. We spent Christmas Eve and had lots of fun with my Zara, Tia, Shane and Grand Mimi. We opened presents...

had "crackers" which ironically presented us with the 3 Kings...or 2 Kings and a Queen...

and just loved and loved on one another!

Oh yeah, and before bed we made our annual Christmas bread (like Thanksgiving, but later) and recited the Night Before Christmas...we forgot the book at home in CLS...I think between the 7 of us we got through the 3rd verse...whatever, that's the important part anyway! We sang silent night on the way up the stairs and nigh-nigh I went to dream of sugar plum fairies and all that good stuff!

CLS Christmas

Here are a few -again, out of order- pics from Santa's early visit to CLS. He was entirely too good to me! I got some really cool new stuff and a little practice for the big day!

Even my brothers helped me figure out the whole "just-tear-it-open" policy...

Pre-Game

A bit out of order, but some new pics none the less. Tia Tiff sent us these from the weekend that she and Zara came to visit before the holidays. Luckily they helped us set up our Christmas tree and get into the holiday spirit!

We had lots of fun sorting through the ornaments and Christmas decorations...and mommy and daddy compared the home-made ones from long-long ago before the tree was complete. What fun! Thanks Zara and Tia for the great visit and the pics to prove it ;-)
