Last Hurrah

Moody Gardens; A.K.A. "The Diamond" (it's exterior shape is a big glass pyramid, hence the Blayne re-naming)

Daddy planned a trip for the three of us to head to Moody Gardens in Galveston this past weekend for a "last hurrah" of sorts before 3 becomes 4.

We had lunch at the Sunflower Cafe off Market Street and headed to the aquarium. We have been to the zoo, but this was our first trip to a real aquarium. It was awesome! Blayne really enjoyed all the sites and we enjoyed spending some quality time out and about.

I am sure it's the hormones talking, but it is kind of a sweet-sorrow moment even though I know we are moving on to new and exciting adventures. Either way, we had a wonderful day and look forward to the future. When we left, Ian asked Blayne "Do you want to come next time with baby Caden?" and she quickly responded, "With Caden? Uh-huh."
